01. Who this policy covers
This policy describes information handling on the OAKS Solutions Pvt Ltd public website and enquiries made through it. We are based at F2, Empire Square, Road No. 36, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad 500033, Telangana, India. Contact us at info@oaks.guru. Learning platforms, school programmes and client deployments may have their own privacy notices and contracts; this website policy does not replace those notices.
02. Information provided by you
When you contact us, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email, phone number, organisation, role, project scale and message. Please share only what is needed for your enquiry. Do not include passwords, identity documents, medical details or identifiable student records in a public enquiry form.
03. Technical information and form submissions
Website hosting and external services may receive technical details such as IP address, browser information and requested resources when your browser connects to them. Our enquiry forms also send the submission time, page, referring page and URL query parameters alongside the form fields. Avoid placing confidential information in links or URL parameters.
04. How information is used
Enquiry information is used to respond to requests, understand proposed projects, communicate about requested services and maintain relevant business records. Technical information can be used to deliver resources, diagnose failures and protect the website. A project proposal or separate service notice will explain additional processing before personal information is required for that service.
05. Service providers and external content
Enquiries are submitted through Google Apps Script for handling in Google Sheets. The website also uses externally hosted media and links to third-party services; those providers may process connection data under their own policies. Our AI demonstrations can download model files and software from external providers. Follow the notice for the specific demo, and use sample material rather than confidential or personal records. Links to other websites do not extend this policy to their services.
06. Cookies and browser controls
External media or services may use cookies or similar browser storage according to their own policies. You can manage cookies and site permissions through your browser, including microphone permissions where requested. Blocking a provider or permission may prevent the associated feature from working. Visiting this website is not blanket consent to unrelated marketing or data use.
07. Sharing and international processing
Information may be handled by providers needed to operate the website and respond to enquiries, and may be disclosed where required by law. Provider infrastructure may be located outside India. The requirements and safeguards for any client or learning-platform data must be set out in the applicable service notice and agreement.
08. Retention and security
Retention depends on the purpose of the enquiry, related project records and applicable legal obligations. Contact us to ask about retention or request deletion of an enquiry. Access and deletion requests may require proportionate identity verification, and some records may need to be retained by law. No online transmission or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
09. Your choices and privacy requests
You may ask about information you have provided, request correction or deletion, withdraw consent where processing relies on it, or raise a privacy concern by emailing info@oaks.guru with the subject “Privacy request”. Include the relevant service and enough detail to locate your request; do not send sensitive identity documents in the first email. We will explain any applicable verification, limitations or next steps. For institution-managed accounts, contact the institution as well.
10. Children and school services
The public business enquiry forms are intended for adults. Parents, guardians and institutions should use the Kids’ Privacy Policy for guidance. The collection and use of learner information in a specific product or programme must be explained in its own notice, with the applicable parental authorisation and institutional arrangements.
11. Applicable requirements and changes
We handle privacy requests under applicable Indian law. The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its Rules have phased commencement; obligations apply as the relevant provisions take effect. This notice does not assert that every provision is already in force. We may update this page to reflect website or legal changes, with the latest revision date shown above.
